Users will still be able to stream music using Bluetooth, AirPlay, and Spotify Connect, and can continue using remote control features and speaker grouping. By open-sourcing the API, Bose allows users to create their own tools to fill any gaps left by the absence of cloud services, preventing the devices from becoming obsolete.
